Senior Commercial Analyst – $140k‑$150k + Super

About the role

This senior commercial finance position sits at the heart of a globally recognised brand, partnering directly with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy. You will own budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for key business units, delivering insights that drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leaders to provide commercial insight and strategic decision support.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across core P&L lines.
• Review commercial deals, tenders and business cases, delivering profitability analysis and recommendations.
• Evaluate promotional performance and identify ROI improvement opportunities.
• Produce executive reporting, financial analysis and commercial commentary.
• Develop and enhance BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
• Build commercial models and decision‑support tools to improve business performance.
• Influence senior stakeholders through proactive analysis and commercial recommendations.

Required profile

• Experienced Commercial Analyst, FP&A professional or Finance Business Partner.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling within a commercial environment.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and improving reporting automation.
• Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and constructively challenging decisions.
• CA/CPA qualification preferred but not essential.
