Senior Category Marketing Manager

About the role

As Senior Category Marketing Manager at MECCA, you will shape category marketing for ANZ customers, turning insight and strategy into standout campaigns that reflect the brand’s unique voice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver MECCA’s category strategies in partnership with Heads of Category.
• Act as custodian of the category, monitoring customer and trade performance to guide decisions.
• Translate category strategy into brand‑level plans and lead the planning and execution of brand and category campaigns.
• Collaborate with Creative, Content, Digital, Design, PR, CRM and Visual Merchandising to create seamless, high‑impact moments.
• Embed strong workflows, processes and planning rhythms to drive operational excellence.
• Lead, coach and develop a talented team while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external brand partners.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in brand, category or retail marketing, preferably in beauty, lifestyle or multi‑brand environments.
• Proven track record of delivering multi‑channel campaigns that generate both brand love and commercial results.
• Experience leading or coaching a team with a passion for developing others.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders and global partners.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with a deep appreciation for storytelling and creativity.
