Senior Business Development Manager - HVAC

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is hiring a Service Repair Business Development Manager. The role focuses on boosting sales and market share by acquiring and converting new customers and retaining existing ones. You will identify and scope opportunities for OEM and general HVAC projects, give direct solutions to end customers and support local business units with sales support, new market strategies, product offerings and technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand the customer base and service offerings.
• Collaborate with local operations teams to qualify leads and develop opportunities.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers and key industry stakeholders.
• Provide solution sales, including SR packages and system upgrades.
• Work with regional service teams and other departments to pursue new business across all verticals.
• Help develop marketing plans for new and existing products.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective customers.
• Support strategic plans to meet new business targets and prepare regular reports on new business development, opportunities and targets.

Required profile

• HVAC trade qualification and at least 5-10 years of HVAC industry experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in aftermarket parts/repair sales with a track record of success.
• Proven ability to proactively sell preventative repair and upgrade packages.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, and strong cross-selling, upselling and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, able to handle multiple projects at once, with strong time management and organisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft-based computer software in a technical environment.
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
