Senior Business Development & Label Manager – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

ONErpm is seeking a Senior Business Development & Label Manager to lead artist and label acquisition across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. You will shape the revenue growth strategy, build a pipeline of priority partners, and work closely with internal teams to maximise the commercial potential of both new and existing catalogues.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and sign artist and label agreements that meet KPIs and support regional growth.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of priority artists, labels and catalogue opportunities.
• Collaborate with labels, artists and internal project managers to create revenue‑driving strategies for frontline and catalogue content.
• Provide market insights, commercial and promotional guidance to the international team.
• Use data, analytics and market trends to uncover and present revenue‑growth opportunities.
• Represent the AUNZ region within the global business development team and contribute to broader initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in A&R, business development, or related music‑industry roles.
• Strong network and relationships within the Australian and New Zealand music scenes.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
• Excellent understanding of music consumption trends and analytics.

Required skills

• Knowledge of major digital platforms: Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, TikTok.
