Senior Auditor

About the role

Join the Brisbane Audit & Assurance team at Moore Australia as a Senior Auditor. You will lead audit engagements for a diverse client base, work closely with managers and partners, and mentor junior staff while developing strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver external audit and assurance engagements from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements and audit reports.
• Identify risks, assess internal controls and provide insights to clients.
• Coach, mentor and support graduate auditors and junior team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and assist with special engagements such as due diligence and internal audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in external audit within a mid‑tier or Big 4 public practice.
• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
• Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining attention to detail.

• CaseWare (experience using it is a bonus).
