Senior Analyst – Controls Assurance (Financial Services Third‑Party)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Controls & Third‑Party Assurance team. You will apply audit methodology to help financial services clients obtain assurance over their own internal controls and those of their third‑party service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, risk‑assess, test controls and produce assurance reports for financial services organisations.
• Apply standards such as ASAE 3402 and GS 007 to engagements.
• Lead recurring and ad‑hoc assurance engagements, setting project plans and delivering client deliverables.
• Develop deep knowledge of fund administrators, custodians, registry providers and superannuation trustees.
• Contribute to the evolution of the team’s service offering as the third‑party assurance landscape changes.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in external audit or accounting.
• Experience with audit‑led engagements and financial reporting objectives.
• Ability to work with large, complex financial services clients.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASAE 3402 and GS 007 assurance standards.
• Understanding of technology controls such as access management and change management.
