Senior Agile Coach

About the role

The Senior Agile Coach will play a pivotal part in shaping how AFCA delivers across digital, technology and operational teams. This hands‑on role combines coaching, change leadership and practical execution to lift delivery flow, predictability and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and embed Scaled Agile (SAFe) ways of working across portfolios, programs and teams.
• Facilitate organisation‑wide ceremonies such as Big Room Planning and Quarterly PI Planning.
• Act as a hands‑on delivery coach, working directly with squads, ARTs and leaders.
• Design, implement and optimise Jira workflows, boards, reporting and delivery metrics.
• Coach Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads and senior leaders on agile roles and ceremonies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Scaled Agile implementations at scale.
• Strong background in hands‑on agile delivery, not purely advisory.
• Experience operating in highly regulated environments, preferably financial services.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Required skills

• SAFe certification (e.g., SPC, SAFe Agile Coach) – highly desirable.
• Deep practical experience configuring and using Jira for agile delivery.
