Senior Account Manager, Mood - Vic East

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Senior Account Manager for its Mood programme in the Victoria East territory. This is an expansion role created because of business growth, reporting to the National Business Manager, Mood. You will lead the VIC East territory, developing tactical account plans to grow the business and improve patient access to a first-in-class treatment for treatment-resistant depression.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand existing referral networks
• Achieve sales and activity goals for the territory and state
• Deliver the Mood therapeutic sales objectives through cross-functional collaboration
• Build and maintain professional relationships with target customers
• Train and certify clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and their treatment centres
• Impart highly technical information to key customers
• Implement a Key Account Management strategy to grow the Mood business in the territory

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in psychiatry
• Proven sales track record, ideally selling to specialists and other stakeholders
• High EQ, able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Required skills

• Ability to uncover customer needs and adapt the sales approach
• Business acumen and a proven Key Account Management approach
• Strategic mindset with sound competitor awareness
