Senior Account Manager, Mood - Vic East

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Senior Account Manager for its Mood programme in the VIC East territory, Victoria. This is an expansion role created because of business growth, reporting to the National Business Manager, Mood. You will lead the territory by developing tactical account plans that grow the business and improve patient access to treatment, working with Key Clinicians, Hospital Executives, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists in and around specialised mood treatment centres.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand existing referral networks
• Achieve sales and activity goals for the territory and state
• Deliver the therapeutic Mood sales objectives and targets through cross-functional collaboration
• Build and maintain professional relationships with target customers
• Train and certify clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and their treatment centres
• Impart highly technical information to key customers
• Implement a Key Account Management strategy to grow the Mood business in the territory

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in psychiatry
• Proven sales track record, ideally selling to specialists and other stakeholders
• High EQ, able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Required skills

• Ability to uncover customer needs and adapt the sales approach
• Business acumen and a proven Key Account Management approach
• Strategic mindset with sound competitor awareness
• Preferred: clinical experience, immunology knowledge, market knowledge, sales projections and trend analysis
