Senior Account Manager - Media Sales

About the role

Seven Media Group (SMG), a leading Australian media company behind the Seven Network, Hit and Triple M radio networks and the LiSTNR podcast network, is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its Wollongong sales team. Based in Wollongong and serving local clients across the region, you will report directly to the General Sales Manager and sell Seven's premium TV airtime and digital products, working with clients in the field and with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Seven's premium TV airtime and digital products, representing brands such as Seven Network, 7plus, Channel 10, LiSTNR and Total TV solutions.
• Drive revenue growth through television airtime, digital products and commercial production services.
• Build strong client relationships and seek new opportunities to showcase Seven's media reach.
• Develop, execute and optimise advertising campaigns using market insights, client data and trading expertise.
• Mentor Coordinators and Account Managers and contribute to best-practice campaign delivery.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of account management and B2B sales experience, with a track record in new business development and commercial outcomes.
• Current driver's licence; a vehicle is a must.
• Strong stakeholder management (e.g. GAD level) and excellent communication and emotional intelligence.
• Skilled negotiator and presenter able to influence senior audiences and deliver compelling proposals.
• Self-motivated, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities and mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• Advanced trading and campaign planning, including schedule building, CPM analysis and optimisation.
• Media and advertising experience is a plus.
