Senior Account Manager Aftermarket

About the role

Komatsu Australia is looking for a Senior Account Manager Aftermarket based in Welshpool, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. The role takes the lead on strategic Tier 1 customer relationships, shaping account strategy, driving sustainable growth and building partnerships with senior stakeholders across sites and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic Tier 1 customer relationships at a corporate level
• Develop and deliver multi-year account plans aligned to customer goals
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and increased wallet share
• Lead contract, pricing and long-term commercial negotiations
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Lead fleet optimisation, TCO reduction and digital integration initiatives
• Facilitate executive business reviews and account performance reporting
• Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity pipelines and CRM activity

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of mining operations, customer needs and equipment lifecycles
• Proven ability to develop long-term, multi-site account growth strategies
• Experience negotiating high-value agreements and influencing C-suite decision-makers
• Experience leading strategic initiatives such as innovation and digital transformation
• Tertiary or trade qualification in sales, service, engineering, logistics or supply chain desirable

Required skills

• Confident use of CRM and reporting tools for account planning and opportunity management
• Strong commercial acumen
