Senior Account Director – Aviation

About the role

Ideagen is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead and grow two strategic aviation customer relationships in Australia. This senior individual contributor will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, aligning Ideagen solutions with long‑term customer objectives and ensuring the company remains a strategic partner.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders across strategic aviation and government organisations.
• Develop account strategies that align customer priorities with long‑term growth opportunities.
• Identify and expand adoption of Ideagen solutions and services.
• Lead the full customer journey from strategic planning through adoption, renewal and growth.
• Act as the executive point of contact for key customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, account planning and pipeline visibility.
• Work cross‑functionally with Customer Success, Product, Support and technical teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Provide market insight and customer feedback to influence product and go‑to‑market strategy.

Required profile

• Experience managing large, complex or strategic customer relationships, preferably in aviation, defence or other highly regulated environments.
• Proven track record of growing accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Knowledge of the Australian aviation ecosystem and its stakeholder landscape.
• Experience with software, technology or SaaS solutions.
• Strong commercial, forecasting and account planning capability.
• Confidence and credibility to engage with executive and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to bring people together to solve customer challenges.
