Securitisation Trust Analyst / Manager

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group serving private markets, is hiring a Securitisation Trust Analyst/Manager in Sydney. You will manage an assigned portfolio of trusts, taking full responsibility for trust management activities and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee trust cash reconciliations, including populating, reconciling and resolving discrepancies with servicers and originators
• Manage trust funding subscription processes and month-end activities to ensure accurate and timely trust administration
• Perform cashflow distribution waterfall calculations and instruct trustees to make required payments in line with transaction requirements
• Maintain and develop financial models, supported by ongoing training and mentoring, while providing general support for trust management operations

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in structured financial markets, including at least 1 year in securitisation trust management
• Experience in financial SPV or trust management and administration, with a strong understanding of trust operations
• Able to manage complex transactions and projects with multiple stakeholders while keeping accuracy and attention to detail
• General understanding of legal documentation, especially operative commercial provisions and transaction requirements

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Cashflow modelling experience is an advantage but not essential
