Sector Manager - South Australia

About the role

AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm, is looking for a Sector Manager to join its Adelaide team. The role supports the execution of sector strategy by driving local growth, client engagement and delivery excellence, while fostering team development, implementing digital initiatives and ensuring strong governance and collaboration across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sustainable growth through client engagement and market differentiation in the region
• Represent AECOM locally by building strong relationships with clients and industry partners
• Identify recruitment needs in consultation with Team Managers and the Sector Director
• Ensure delivery excellence across regional projects, maintaining high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction
• Implement digital initiatives within the sector and ensure project governance and approval requirements are met
• Support projects in a governance capacity across local portfolios
• Lead or take part in bid decisions, project risk reviews, project setup reviews and periodic governance reviews

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Engineering Science or a related field (highly desired)
• Experience leading and growing teams in a consulting services context, in the mining and/or industrial sectors (highly desired)
• Demonstrated P&L and project delivery / project commercial acumen (highly desired)
