Secondary English & Humanities Teacher – Online School

About the role

Australian Christian College is seeking a full‑time Secondary English / Humanities Teacher for its Victoria Online campus. The role involves delivering online lessons to Years 7‑11 students, developing VCE courses, and working from the Casey office in Cranbourne South.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement a range of teaching programmes for secondary English and Humanities.
• Deliver lessons using ICT learning platforms, particularly Canvas.
• Provide a child‑safe environment in line with the school’s policies and standards.
• Develop and deliver online VCE courses for senior year levels.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, devotions, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Committed Christian who is comfortable sharing their faith.
• High expectations for student academic and behavioural outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and relational skills with staff, students and parents.
• Ability to analyse educational data and implement strategies to improve learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canvas learning management system.
• Competence in using ICT learning platforms for online education.
