Scheduling & Claims Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Scheduling & Claims Manager to lead trade forecasting, claims management and contractor coordination across our residential building projects. You will ensure trade schedules are optimised, claims are processed efficiently, and the scheduling team operates smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast weekly claims and optimise trade schedules set by the Scheduling team.
• Manage daily and weekly claim review and processing.
• Oversee and adjust weekly trade schedules to maximise onsite progress and minimise delays.
• Review trade forecasts to align subcontractor availability with residential building needs.
• Integrate pre‑qualified subcontractors after WHS onboarding and maintain a subcontractor database.
• Direct the scheduling team in daily adjustments to avoid delays and optimise resource allocation.
• Lead the trade scheduling team, resolve scheduling conflicts and trade availability issues.
• Provide advice on costs, procurement, construction methodology and commercial risks.
• Conduct ad‑hoc onsite trade reviews and report feedback to senior managers.
• Track trade performance, present updates to the Executive Team and support Salesforce Logistics updates.

Required profile

• 5–8 years’ experience in the volume building industry.
• Project Management, Contracts Management and supervisory experience (highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of construction and supply contracts and subcontractor management.
• High computer literacy and problem‑solving ability.
• Construction Induction (White Card).
• Excellent communication, presentation, time‑management and confidentiality skills.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving quality results.
