Scaffolder / Experienced Labourer

About the role

WorkPac is recruiting experienced scaffolders for its client, a leading provider of scaffolding services across construction and infrastructure projects. The work is based in the Newcastle, Maitland and Hunter Valley area, on various construction and infrastructure sites, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Install and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently
• Work as part of a professional scaffolding crew
• Safely handle, move and position scaffolding components
• Work from scaffolding and elevated work platforms where required
• Follow site safety procedures and supervisor directions
• Maintain safe and organised work areas
• Assist with general site duties as required
• Travel between various construction and infrastructure sites

Required profile

• Previous scaffolding experience
• Relevant Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence (SB, SI or SA)
• Working Safely at Heights (WSAH) certificate
• Construction White Card
• Strong understanding of scaffolding safety and procedures
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual work and work effectively as part of a crew
• Reliable transport and strong punctuality
