SAP SD/MM Lead Consultant

About the role

Capgemini’s Package Based Solutions practice is seeking a Senior SAP Order Management and Material Management consultant to join its Australian team. The role is based in Sydney (or Melbourne) and focuses on delivering end‑to‑end SAP S/4 implementations for retail, wholesale and FMCG clients.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to gather business requirements, design solutions and configure SAP SD and MM modules.
• Lead functional workstreams, ensure quality delivery, resolve issues promptly and align with project timelines.
• Provide expert functional guidance, act as a trusted advisor and promote emerging SAP capabilities.
• Support business development activities such as effort estimation, Statement of Work creation and client presentations.

Required profile

• Australian citizen or permanent resident, eligible for security clearance.
• 12+ years of SAP project experience with at least four full end‑to‑end implementation cycles.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4 SD and experience with SAP MM; experience with TMS is a plus.
• Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships and lead functional teams.
