Sales Manager - Retail Technology Solutions

About the role

A recruiter is seeking an experienced Sales Manager or Business Development Manager to drive the growth of retail technology solutions across Australia. It is a hunter role focused on developing new business, building strategic relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 retailers and growing a network of channel partners and resellers. The position is based in Parramatta.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business across the Australian retail market.
• Build and manage relationships with retailers, distributors and channel partners.
• Convert Proof of Concept (POC) opportunities into large-scale rollouts.
• Develop sales strategies and manage a strong pipeline.
• Present tailored technology solutions to customers and collaborate with technical teams to deliver results.
• Monitor market trends and identify new growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships and winning new business.
• Strong commercial mindset and confidence engaging senior decision-makers.
• Background in B2B technology or solution sales is highly regarded.
• Experience developing new business and managing long sales cycles.
• Understanding of the retail industry or retail technology market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, self-driven approach and willingness to travel throughout Australia when required.
