Branch Manager

About the role

As Branch Manager you will be responsible for the performance and day-to-day leadership of a busy customer-facing location. You will lead a team, coach them to achieve their goals and personally contribute to the branch's success. The branch is looking to strengthen its connection with the local community, and speaking Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three customer-facing consultants.
• Take ownership of branch sales targets and performance.
• Coach the team in consultative and needs-based selling.
• Engage personally with customers and support them at the counter.
• Build relationships with local businesses and community organisations and represent the branch at local events, pop-ups and community initiatives.
• Develop opportunities to increase customer traffic and sales.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints effectively.
• Ensure strong risk, compliance and operational standards are maintained.
• Create a positive, collaborative and high-performing branch environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience leading a retail, sales or customer service team.
• A strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Experience with consultative or needs-based selling.
• Confidence coaching and developing team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine customer-first approach.
• Commercial awareness and confidence networking and representing an organisation locally.
• Proactive, energetic and approachable personality.
