Sales Manager, MSE, GBS

About the role

Gartner is looking for a Sales Manager for its MSE, GBS business unit in Sydney. The role's main purpose is to attract, lead, coach and develop a team of quota-bearing associates to drive revenue, typically managing a team of 4-5 direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or overachieve financial targets
• Develop and execute a strategy for business results aligned with the overall sales strategy
• Attract and retain top talent using Gartner's validated recruitment methodology, building a pipeline of candidates for potential open territories
• Drive high activity through team prospecting sessions with direct reports
• Ensure each team member can develop and maintain C-level relationships
• Communicate the global strategy effectively and coach and develop direct reports regularly
• Provide leadership through mentorship and take ownership of your own professional growth while supporting the team's growth

Required profile

• 7-15 years of consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software or hardware)
• 3+ years of management experience
• Internal candidates should show a track record of successful financial performance and 2+ years of QB sales experience at Gartner
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate sales associates
