Key Account Manager, End Customer

About the role

Axis is looking for a Key Account Manager, End Customer, based in Sydney with travel required. You will manage long-term relationships with large account customers, handling their complex needs and priorities, and deepen the relationship through solutions sales, presentations and proposals to decision makers and site management. You will also build a team around the end customers and coordinate resources and communication between sales, business development, marketing and technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with established key-focused accounts and seek new business opportunities
• Maintain long-term partnerships with focused and development accounts
• Develop clear business plans for each account or portfolio, aligned with business strategy
• Set annual targets and follow up on KPIs
• Take part in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities
• Prepare reports for new and key accounts
• Manage and maintain end-customer documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent
• Significant experience in a similar sales position and in achieving sales targets
• Strategic thinker with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Able to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience building lasting relationships with consultants and segment customers (desirable)
• Proactive, self-motivated team player with good organisational skills and negotiation skills

Required skills

• Desirable: experience with hardware and/or software products
• Desirable: knowledge of IT networking, IP-based technologies and applications
• Desirable: good knowledge of Salesforce
