Sales Executive

About the role

The Westin is looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to drive new group and catering business for its flagship Melbourne property. You will work closely with operational teams to secure conferences, meetings and events while delivering a high‑end guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new group, conference and catering opportunities.
• Prepare tailored proposals and contracts, ensuring attention to detail.
• Conduct site inspections and entertainment tours to convert prospects.
• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy to build customer loyalty.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales using creative selling techniques.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients.
• Act as a wellbeing ambassador, promoting The Westin brand values.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar sales role within hospitality.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Self‑motivated, driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eager to advance a career in sales.
