Sales Development Representative (Remote – ANZ)

About the role

Remote is looking for an energetic Sales Development Representative to join its global sales team, focusing on the Australia and New Zealand market. In this fully remote position you will help prospective and existing customers experience Remote’s Global HR Platform by qualifying inbound and outbound leads and setting up meetings for Account Executives.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to, engage and qualify inbound queries and outbound leads.
• Source new sales prospects, create target lists and conduct cold‑calls.
• Book appointments and hand‑off qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
• Communicate Remote’s value proposition clearly and tailor conversations to prospect needs.
• Support the Account Executive team with research, prospect education and follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and outcomes in sales tools.

Required profile

• Proven business‑development success using core sales tools.
• Experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS technology company.
• Strong negotiation, communication and listening skills with a positive phone presence.
• Strategic and tactical thinking, self‑starter attitude and resilience to rejection.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated interest or experience with automation and AI capabilities (a plus).
