About the role

Join Podium as a Sales Development Representative and be the first point of contact for local businesses discovering our AI‑driven SaaS tools. This entry‑level tech sales position is ideal for candidates with outbound, door‑to‑door or call‑centre experience looking to launch a career in technology sales.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect into industry‑specific sectors to generate and qualify leads for Account Executives.
• Make high‑volume outbound cold calls and emails to owners, operators and decision makers.
• Educate prospects on how Podium addresses challenges such as reviews, missed messages and SMS marketing.
• Exceed monthly quotas for qualified demos, pipeline creation and opportunity generation.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule product demos and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Log and manage pipeline activity in Salesforce with accurate data and notes.

Required profile

• Strong interest in engaging with small and medium‑size business owners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, confident and persuasive.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to thrive in a high‑volume outbound environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs in previous roles.
• Desire to launch or grow a career in tech sales with a coachable attitude.
