About the role

We are a high‑growth technology vendor expanding rapidly across APAC and looking for a founding Sales Development Representative to target enterprise accounts in Australia and New Zealand. This role will help shape our sales development function and offers a fast‑track path to leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outbound outreach to key stakeholders within target accounts using cold calls, SMS, email, LinkedIn and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with the Growth team to research accounts and craft highly personalized messaging.
  • Contribute to the definition and improvement of sales processes, outreach strategies and team playbooks.
  • Own a monthly pipeline generation target and consistently meet it.
  • Progress to an SDR Lead role within 3‑6 months, with responsibility for hiring, onboarding and training additional SDRs.

Required profile

  • 1‑2+ years of experience as an SDR in a hyper‑growth SaaS start‑up or scale‑up.
  • Proven track record building and executing outbound sales campaigns in a complex SaaS environment.
  • Experience selling to senior technology and marketing leaders such as CTOs, CIOs, CDOs or CMOs.
  • Based in Australia, preferably in Sydney or Melbourne.
