Sales Consultant

About the role

NRN is building Australia’s first residential smart grid, offering households solar and battery solutions with no upfront cost and up to 40% cheaper power bills. As a Sales Consultant you will join a fast‑moving startup, handling inbound enquiries and guiding customers through a trial that sells itself.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound leads, answer tough questions honestly and qualify prospects.
• Validate customers’ electricity bills and guide them into an accepted trial.
• Manage the sales pipeline end‑to‑end, following up and re‑engaging stalled leads.
• Share weekly customer insights with Growth and Product teams.
• Represent NRN at occasional pop‑ups and community events.

Required profile

• 5+ years of phone‑based or consultative sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting targets across multiple organisations.
• Strong pipeline management skills in a high‑volume environment.
• Honest, transparent and resilient with a customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM/pipeline platform.
