Sales Business Development Manager

About the role

The Sales Business Development Manager will lead the identification and development of new business opportunities for Insicon Cyber’s cybersecurity solutions across the ANZ region. This full‑time position is based in North Sydney and works in a hybrid environment, collaborating with technical and advisory teams to deliver value‑focused proposals to senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, generate leads and manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle for mid‑market and enterprise cybersecurity services.
• Conduct discovery meetings, prepare proposals and presentations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, report on performance metrics and contribute to go‑to‑market strategies.
• Build long‑term client relationships to support recurring revenue and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of owning a quota and closing complex deals.
• Ability to translate technical cybersecurity concepts into business‑focused language for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, focused on long‑term partnerships.
• Self‑motivated, organised and data‑driven with experience managing a sales pipeline independently.

Required skills

• Experience in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management and deal closing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Familiarity with ANZ regulatory and compliance frameworks such as ACSC guidelines and privacy legislation.
