Sales Associate (Carry Guide)

About the role

Bellroy's first Melbourne store opens in early November, and the team is being assembled now with the carry crew starting late October. As a Carry Guide you will be the face of Bellroy on the floor, helping customers find the right product for their life. The role is casual, based in the Melbourne CBD store, with shifts including weekends and some evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Get to know the range thoroughly, including materials, design thinking and the details that make each product worth owning, and share that knowledge with customers
• Help customers make considered purchases, and handle returns with the same care as any other interaction
• Keep displays looking intentional, reset the floor properly and ensure POS transactions are accurate
• Share what customers say and flag issues that need attention

Required profile

• Some retail or customer-facing experience and a natural, warm way with people
• Genuine curiosity about products and the thinking behind them
• Ability to stay composed and helpful when things get tricky, such as complaints or returns
• Team-first approach
• Flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends
