About the role

Join Smokemart & Gift Box as a Sales Assistant and help create a fun, authentic shopping experience for customers. You will work in a busy, sales‑driven environment while supporting the company’s focus on equality, diversity and internal career growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high levels of customer service and build strong rapport with shoppers.
  • Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
  • Maintain solid product knowledge across all business pillars.
  • Uphold store standards, assist with merchandising and presentation.
  • Work towards budgets, targets and KPIs.
  • Assist with stock control and quality management.
  • Follow national legislation, WHS and security guidelines.

Required profile

  • Passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Happy, friendly and energetic personality.
  • Desire to deliver high‑quality customer service.
  • Valid Police Check Report required if successful.

Required skills

  • Sound cash handling and EFTPOS operation.
