Sales and Line Crew Member

About the role

Guzman Y Gomez, a fast casual Mexican dining franchise operated by OTR Group, is hiring sales and line crew members in Adelaide. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, crew members provide pleasant and prompt service to customers and prepare menu items according to the procedures outlined by the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pleasant and prompt service to customers
• Prepare menu items according to the restaurant's procedures and processes
• Maintain full knowledge of the menu, ingredients and procedures so that high-quality Mexican products are delivered proactively and promptly

Required profile

• Advanced English skills (if non-native)
• Valid RSA certificate
• Previous customer service or food preparation experience is regarded but not essential; attitude is key

Required skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale and EFTPOS machine operation
• General understanding of Australian currency, payment methods and loyalty cards
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Outgoing, patient and self-motivated, with a clean, tidy and organised work station
