S26 Project Manager - NPI

About the role

Chandler Macleod is recruiting, on behalf of a well-established Western Australian contractor, an experienced Project Manager with Section 26 (S26) qualifications to deliver Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) works such as camps, modular villages and their supporting infrastructure. The role starts in Perth supporting pre-mobilisation and planning, then moves to site on a standard 2:1 roster. Projects are typically $8M-$10M and cover WA and wider remote work. It is a permanent position with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects end to end: planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out
• Provide statutory supervision in line with WA WHS (Mines) obligations as required
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to safety, schedule, quality and cost outcomes
• Drive a strong safety culture (pre-starts, JHAs/SWMS, permits, incident follow-up)
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, report progress and manage resourcing, productivity and performance across multiple work fronts

Required profile

• Proven project management experience delivering NPI or construction projects in remote environments
• Section 26 (S26) Statutory Supervisor qualification preferred
• Strong preference for tier-one contractor-side delivery experience; camp and modular work is highly regarded
• Ability to work from Perth before mobilisation and then commit to a 2:1 site roster
