Estimator - Custom Homes

About the role

A reputable residential design and build company is looking for an Estimator to join its team delivering custom residential projects across Sydney's Inner West. The role covers estimating, tendering, procurement and cost planning, with genuine progression towards a Project Manager role. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, tenders and quantity take-offs
• Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Prepare trade scopes and assist with procurement
• Assist with project costings and variations
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
• Support the transition of projects from pre-construction into delivery

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience within the construction industry
• Experience in estimating, contracts administration or residential construction
• Construction Management/Building qualification and Databuild experience highly regarded

Required skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail
