Dogman - Wall Construction Project

About the role

AWX is seeking an experienced dogman for a wall construction project near Gold Coast Airport. You will support the unloading, lifting and placement of blocks, alongside general labouring duties to keep the project moving. Several weeks of consistent work are available, with further work anticipated, and an immediate start is sought.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out dogging duties for unloading and positioning blocks during wall construction.
• Select and inspect lifting gear, safely sling loads and communicate with the operator.
• Assist the crew with material handling, site preparation and general labouring.
• Keep work areas tidy and follow site safety procedures and exclusion zones.

Required profile

• Current High Risk Work Licence covering dogging duties.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Practical dogging experience, ideally with concrete blocks or similar construction materials.
• Reliable transport, immediate availability and a willingness to contribute across the team.
