About the role

The Rotational Pharmacist position at Sutherland Hospital offers a unique opportunity to gain broad clinical experience across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Working full‑time on a temporary contract until August 2027, you will rotate through clinical, operational and production pharmacy teams, contributing to safe and effective medication use.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to optimise medication therapy for in‑patients.
• Participate in dispensary operations, ensuring accurate preparation and supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives during each rotation.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with current Australian registration.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing clinical priorities.
• Commitment to professional development and evidence‑based practice.

Required skills
