Registered Nurse – Interventional Cardiology (Full‑time)

About the role

The Interventional Cardiology Service at St Vincent’s Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (Year 2‑8) to join a leading tertiary referral centre. You will work in a high‑technology environment that performs percutaneous valve replacements, cardiac device insertions and the only heart‑lung transplant programme in NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based nursing care to patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures.
• Coordinate with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
• Experience in an acute care setting such as cardiac nursing, anaesthetic nursing or operating theatres.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated integration of theoretical knowledge with clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads in a complex environment.
