Rotational Clinical Pharmacist – North Canberra Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at North Canberra Hospital. This full‑time permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a tertiary public hospital environment, providing clinical pharmacy services and supporting patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services across hospital wards and multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilise the hospital’s complete Digital Health Record to document medication management.
• Participate in on‑call and weekend duties as required.
• Engage in professional development, research, education and mentorship activities.
• Contribute to leadership and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.

Required profile

• Completion of a Foundation Residency Program or at least two years of registered experience in an Australian public hospital, or practice at Consolidation/ANZCAP Registrar level with at least four years experience.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment National Police Check and comply with occupational assessment, screening, vaccination and credentialing requirements.

Required skills

• Clinical pharmacy practice in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Digital Health Record systems.
