Risk Advisory Consultant (Junior)

About the role

A junior consulting professional is needed to join the Risk Advisory practice of a leading Australian law firm, working on risk management, regulatory and compliance matters for tier‑1 financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with advisory engagements covering risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance advice and governance reviews.
• Support design and implementation of risk management frameworks for clients.
• Provide assistance on regulatory enforcements and investigations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, business or a related field with strong academic performance.
• 1‑2 years of consulting experience, preferably in a top‑tier professional or financial services firm.
• Familiarity with Australian regulatory frameworks such as APRA, ASIC or AUSTRAC.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
