Retail Sales Assistant (Casual) – Newcastle

About the role

Join ResMed as a Sleep Coach in the Newcastle retail clinic, delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting people on their sleep health journey. Full training is provided, making it an ideal entry point into the healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and provide tailored sleep therapy solutions.
• Achieve individual and clinic sales targets through effective product recommendations.
• Fit customers for masks, set up equipment and provide education on safe use.
• Conduct follow‑up calls to support therapy compliance and build long‑term relationships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, manage stock levels and process POS transactions.

Required profile

• Retail, sales or customer service experience (2+ years preferred).
• Sales‑focused mindset with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work a rotating roster of 3–5 days per week, including 1–2 Saturdays.
• Positive, caring attitude and reliability.

Required skills

• Experience using POS systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Shopify is highly regarded.
