Retail Assistant - Trade Store Customer Service

About the role

Blackwoods is looking for a friendly and energetic Customer Care Consultant to provide excellent customer service in its Broome Trade Store. The store has a very long history, with its last recruitment in 2005, so joining is a rare chance for someone new to become part of the community. You will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of running a successful trade store, learning from experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in person, by phone and by email
• Provide expert advice on a wide range of industrial products
• Keep administration organised as required
• Uphold safety standards and foster a positive team culture

Required profile

• A great attitude and a passion for customer service
• Positive and clear customer service manner, verbally and over email
• Reliable and team-focused approach
• Proactive, team-first attitude with good communication skills
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service and/or trades is beneficial but not required
