Assistant Retail Store Manager - Part Time

About the role

Jay Jays is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its Broome store. This is a part-time role (minimum 20 hours per week) supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, hitting KPIs and ensuring excellent customer service. Availability is required for weekends, late-night trading hours and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Coach the team, giving guidance and feedback.
• Help with day-to-day operations such as stock management and keeping the store fresh.
• Work with the Store Manager to build a positive, inclusive team environment.
• Assist with visual merchandising.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience, with leadership or supervisory experience.
• A passion for streetwear and for high-quality customer service.
• Proactive approach to driving sales and team performance.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with visual merchandising is a bonus.
