Restaurant Manager

About the role

Lead a high‑performing GYG restaurant, driving operational excellence, team development and outstanding guest experiences in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including service, quality, sales, labour and food costs.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high‑performing leadership and crew team, building a pipeline of future Shift Leaders and Managers.
• Maintain GYG standards for food quality, safety, people safety and restaurant presentation.
• Manage financial performance – sales, labour, COGS, inventory and controllable expenses.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales, improve profitability and strengthen overall performance.

Required profile

• Strong management experience in a fast‑paced hospitality or customer‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate large teams.
• Confidence managing high‑volume operations and busy service periods.
• Track record of delivering strong customer experiences and commercial results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and people‑development skills.
