Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Restaurant Manager to lead one of our high‑performing Guzman y Gomez locations in Australia. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, driving operational excellence and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high‑performing leadership and crew team, building a pipeline of future shift leaders and managers.
• Manage financial performance including sales, labour, COGS, inventory and controllable expenses.
• Drive operational KPIs across service, quality, labour and food costs while maintaining compliance with GYG policies.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in a fast‑paced hospitality or customer‑focused environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, handle high‑volume service periods and deliver strong commercial results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a hands‑on leadership style.
