Resource Recovery Coordinator

About the role

Redox, an ASX-listed raw material and ingredients distributor, is hiring a Resource Recovery Coordinator in Minto, NSW. The role manages Reject Stock in a timely and cost-effective way, maximising its recovery value through sale, repurposing, reprocessing or reuse, and arranging compliant disposal when no other option is practical. It keeps Reject Stock visible, prompts responsible employees to act and follows each item to resolution. The workplace is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate register of Reject Stock, including location, quantity, condition, value, reason for rejection and proposed course of action
• Review ageing Reject Stock regularly and prioritise items by value, volume, storage risk and urgency
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to agree actions and processing timeframes
• Prepare regular reports on holdings, recoveries, disposals, costs and trends
• Compare reuse and disposal options against safety, compliance, environmental outcome and practicality
• Identify recurring causes and opportunities to reduce packaging damage, excessive purchasing, expiry, deterioration and avoidable disposal costs
• Build relationships with recycling, reprocessing and waste-management providers

Required profile

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage many outstanding items
• Confident communication and follow-up skills
• Problem-solving ability and sound commercial judgement
• Ability to work safely around chemical products and in warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Willingness to complete relevant internal and external training
• Eligible to work in Australia; successful applicants must pass a National Police History check

Required skills

• Basic competence with inventory systems, spreadsheets and reporting
• Desirable: experience in chemicals, manufacturing, warehousing, inventory control, quality, recycling or waste management
• Desirable: familiarity with Safety Data Sheets, dangerous goods, chemical compatibility and waste classification
