Residential Construction Supervisor

About the role

Mills Group WA, a family‑owned residential construction company, is looking for an experienced South Side Supervisor to lead projects in Perth. This full‑time position oversees all phases of residential builds, ensuring quality, safety, and delivery within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise on‑site construction teams, delegating tasks and monitoring progress.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the construction process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a supervisor in residential construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Tech‑savvy with experience using software for site lists and coordination.
• Organised, self‑motivated, and punctual.
• Relevant construction management qualifications are advantageous.
