Reservations Agent (Part‑time)

About the role

The Reservations Agent is often the first point of contact for guests, handling both individual and group bookings. This part‑time position (24 hours per week) supports a smooth start to each stay and contributes to the overall guest experience at Novotel Perth Murray Street.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations across multiple channels.
• Maintain accuracy of room blocks, rate codes, and guarantee policies.
• Assist inbound FIT and group reservations from inquiry through on‑site coordination.
• Explain special rates, cancellation policies, and document special requests.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and resolve rooming challenges.
• Set up billing accounts according to finance policies and troubleshoot guest issues.

Required profile

• Experience with OPERA or a similar property management system.
• Relevant experience in hotel reservations, preferably with groups.
• Service‑oriented, detail‑focused, and confident communicator.
• Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and passion for hospitality.
