Relief Concrete Truck Driver

About the role

Join Heidelberg Materials Australia as a Relief Heavy Rigid Truck Driver and help deliver concrete to iconic projects across Melbourne. You will operate modern agitator trucks, working from the plant closest to your home, with the possibility of travelling to other sites as workload requires.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate agitator trucks to deliver high‑quality concrete mixes to construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols, including Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management guidelines.
• Complete a 10‑day training program to become road‑ready and confident.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with site personnel.

Required profile

• Hold a valid Heavy Rigid licence.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a White Card.
• Strong work ethic with a customer‑first attitude.
• Team‑oriented problem solver who values safety.

Required skills

• Heavy Rigid licence operation.
• White Card certification.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility regulations.
• Fatigue management awareness.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $33.76 AUD plus overtime (time‑and‑a‑half after 8 hrs, double after 10 hrs).
