Engagement Manager – Transportation

About the role

Oliver Wyman’s Transportation and Advanced Industrials practice is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead project modules and build executive client relationships within the transportation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of project modules, including hypothesis development, data collection, modeling, and analysis.
• Support partners in delivering high‑quality case work and maintain day‑to‑day client interactions.
• Own and develop executive client relationships, presenting insights to senior audiences.
• Coach and develop junior consultants.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in strategy consulting and/or aviation, aerospace, rail or transportation industries.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering results under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills for senior executives.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.

Required skills

• Strong conceptual problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience with primary and secondary research, data analysis, and model creation.
