Relationship Manager, Business & Private Bank – Perth

About the role

The Relationship Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of diversified wholesale customers for ANZ's Business & Private Bank in Perth. The role focuses on customer acquisition, cross‑selling and referrals while delivering tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act in the best interest of customers with a customer‑centric approach.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each customer’s business and financial needs.
• Provide appropriate banking solutions and collaborate with product partners to design, structure and execute deals.
• Build and maintain external networks, focusing on circles of influence and origination.
• Structure deals together with product and specialist teams.
• Manage a portfolio of diversified wholesale customers.
• Drive new‑to‑bank business and grow whole‑of‑customer relationships while adhering to operational rhythms.
• Monitor and manage credit risk across the portfolio.
• Exercise relationship credit‑approval discretion as appropriate.
• Coach and develop an Assistant Manager direct report.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Domain expertise to support complex customers and deliver tailored banking solutions.
• Experience assessing and managing credit risk.
