Rehabilitation Consultant – Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist

About the role

Join IPAR, a national occupational rehabilitation provider, as a Rehabilitation Consultant in Port Macquarie. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored occupational rehabilitation services across a variety of schemes, helping clients achieve sustainable return‑to‑health and return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Apply clinical expertise to improve return‑to‑work outcomes.
• Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct clinical and vocational assessments, including initial, workplace, and functional capacity assessments.
• Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• General registration with AHPRA or accreditation with ESSA meeting SIRA requirements.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Empathy, resilience, and a client‑centred approach.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Current NSW driver’s licence and access to an insured vehicle.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and functional capacity assessment expertise.
• Ability to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
